Q: Where is the restaurant located? Is there parking available?
Peijie Hotpot is located in the heart of Amsterdam Chinatown (Zeedijk, Amsterdam). Street parking is limited in the area, but there are several public parking garages nearby. We always recommend coming by bike or public transport if possible.
Q: What type of menu does the restaurant offer?
We specialize in authentic Chongqing hotpot, featuring our signature spicy broth, traditional non-spicy options, and a wide variety of fresh meat, seafood, and vegetables.
We also offer house-made dipping sauces and seasonal specials.
Q: Do I need a reservation? How far in advance can I book?
Reservations are recommended, especially for weekends and larger groups. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance through our website. We also welcome walk-ins if space allows.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
For regular reservations, please cancel as early as possible if your plans change.
For large group reservations (13 guests or more), we kindly request a deposit of €15 per person at the time of booking.
Cancellations can be made using the link in your booking confirmation email. If the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the reserved time, the deposit will be refunded in full to your original payment method within approximately 5 business days after your dining experience.
If the cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the reserved time, the deposit will unfortunately not be refunded.
Q: Can I cancel or reschedule my reservation?
Yes, you can cancel or reschedule through the link provided in your confirmation email.
For large group bookings, please note that the €15 per person deposit will be fully refunded if the change or cancellation is made at least 48 hours in advance.
If the change or cancellation occurs within 48 hours of your reservation time, the deposit will not be refunded.
Q: Do you charge service fees or gratuity?
We do not add any service charges. Tipping is at your discretion and always appreciated by our team.
Q: Are drinks and wine available?
Yes. We offer a wide selection of soft drinks, teas, beers, and wines. Guests are allowed to bring their own wine for a corkage fee of €25 per bottle (maximum 2 bottles).
Q: What is the dress code?
We want all our guests to feel comfortable. Casual wear is perfectly fine.

Q: What is the largest party size available?
We are happy to accommodate large group reservations for 13 guests or more.
To ensure the best possible experience for you and your guests, we kindly ask that large group bookings be made at least 48 hours in advance with a €15 per person deposit.
For private events or larger groups, please feel free to email us directly.
Q: Are children allowed in the restaurant?
Yes! Families with children are welcome. Please note that we do not provide highchairs or a children’s menu, but many kids enjoy our mild broth options.
Q: Can parties with separate reservations be seated together?
We will do our best to accommodate seating requests, but this cannot be guaranteed during busy hours.
Q: Can you accommodate allergies and dietary preferences?
Yes, we will do our best. Please inform our staff of any allergies when making your reservation or upon arrival. We can prepare non-spicy broths and vegetarian options. However, due to the shared hotpot format, cross-contamination cannot always be fully avoided.
